Ligna 2017 Hannover

Trade fair for the woodworking industry

Hanover [Germany] May 22nd–26th 2017
The prevailing theme of the 2017 edition of Ligna was Industry 4.0, with special emphasis on the digitalization of companies, integration, and automation. The 2017 edition of Ligna recorded some impressive figures: 1,500 exhibitors, 93,000 visitors, and 42,000 international guests.
The ICA Group stand showcased some important additions for coatings and colors, and was a meeting point for furnishing companies and industrial plant manufacturers.

This year the ICA Group proposed some creative ideas dedicated to interior furnishings, by presenting the new “Antiche Armonie” tones that enhance the beauty of wood thanks to pale shades inspired by Italian rural life. Considerable attention was also dedicated to “Iridea BIO”, the new range of water-based coatings formulated with resins produced from vegetable waste.
Inside the stand visitors were able to view the new Urban Matter effect and “Nero Profondo”, a deep black color directly formulated by the ICA Group laboratories and applicable to wood and glass. ICA also featured in the stands of coating plant manufacturers, which staged live application tests so that visitors could appreciate the performances of ICA and iCO coatings.
