Water-based sealers: water-based primers and water-based sealers
In terms of quality and of aesthetic appearance, it should be stressed from the outset that modern water-based bicomponent top coats are in no way inferior to comparable solvent-based products. Well-covered surfaces that are smooth to the touch, with uniform appearance and a high level of chemical-physical resistance – these are just some of the excellent results that can now be achieved consistently and easily with water-based coating products thanks to the great strides made in their development. Water-based monocomponent coatings may not perform as well as bicomponents, but they can, nevertheless, offer a valid alternative. Latest-generation water-based monocomponent coatings are quick-drying and aesthetically pleasing, even if they have lower chemical-physical resistance.
