Polyester coatings offer sufficient reactivity to satisfy the criteria for fast line speeds, and give an excellent finish.

Polyester coatings are produced with unsaturated polyester resins dissolved in styrene. The styrene performs the function of the solvent, with the capacity to react with the resin and, in the process, contribute to the total solid content of the Polyester coatings.
