ICA's frames and shutters coatings give excellent, long-term protection for frames and shutters.
The use of water-based coatings on exterior frames and
shutters has by now become widespread because of the numerous
advantages these coatings offer: lower levels of solvent emissions
into the atmosphere; quick application; optimum elasticity; excellent
resistance across a range of temperatures and to the atmospheric
agents of the coating film; easily coatable; no risk of autocombustion.
ICA's water-based coatings
give excellent, long-term protection for frames and shutters because
they:
- contain pigments and UV filters that protect the wooden surface and impede
yellowing and vetrification of the coating film
- contain preservatives that impede the proliferation of fungi and
mould
- undergo extensive internal testing in our laboratories
- focusing on resistance to blocking, resistance to water droplets,
natural exposure, resistance to accelerated ageing, and with an
evaluation of water vapor permeability - to ensure they conform to UNI
EN regulations
- are also approved by external bodies that carry out conformity tests
in relation to EN 927 regulations, thus giving further confirmation of
the quality of these products
