Quality system
A large-scale manufacturer, ICA carrries out its operations in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 Quality System Certification.
Quality policy
For ICA, the concept of TOTAL QUALITY means, in practice, engaging and assisting the customer to the very best of our ability, as well as offering incentives to encourage the continuous positive development of the company’s internal processes.
This organic developmental pattern, which ICA has been following for many years, has contributed to our reaching an important milestone in our evolution: UNI EN ISO 9001 Certification, awarded to us in 1998 by the Certiquality-Certichim certifying body in respect of our business processes.
UNI EN ISO 9001 differs markedly from other, superficially similar certification systems, because a pre-requisite for full compliance with the terms of UNI EN ISO 9001 is that all of the company’s operations (Planning & Design, Purchasing, Production, Testing, After-Sales Support Services) - without exception - be structured in line with the criteria of the Quality Systems.
In particular, ISO 9001-certified companies demonstrate excellence in Planning & Design (without doubt, the most important stage in the life cycle of any product) and After-Sales Service. Neither of these areas is fully evaluated in ISO 9002 or 9003 certification.
ICA was the first Italian company in the wood coatings sector to be ISO 9001 certified.
